Jesse Powell, CEO of Kraken exchange has been optimistic about the future of bitcoin, and had stated in March that in ten years the BTC will be worth US$ 1 million. In a new statement, he pointed out that he believes that by the end of the year it will be possible to buy a Lamborghini with 1 bitcoin; in 2022 it will be possible to buy a Bugatti with the same amount.
Today, in the United States, the cheapest model of the brand costs US$2.9 million. This means a rise of more than 5,000% in the price of the bitcoin, currently priced at US$ 58,000.
Ethereum and Polkadot will also appreciate
In an interview with Bloomberg, Jesse Powell also stated that Ethereum (ETH) should grow, along with the NFTs market. In his assessment, the currency could reach US$ 2,000 by the end of the year.
As for Polkadot (DOT), he did not dare to make a forecast, although he believes it to be a bullish trend. “A lot of developers who were on Ethereum are being attracted to Polkadot due to the lower transaction fees”, he said
According to him, if the United States continues to print large amounts of paper money, the appreciation of cryptocurrencies will be inevitable. “Bitcoin is heading toward infinity”, he stated.
