The development of the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, through the creation of bitcoin, Ethereum blockchain and its smart contracts were reflected in the creation of various products and services. Among them, court-order debts, asset tokenization and solutions for local and international crypto payments.

That’s the conclusion of the head of Investments at Transfero Swiss, Carlos Russo, who participated on Tuesday (28/01) of Café Empreendedor, an event promoted by Fábrica de Startups in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the event, which takes place weekly at the Fabrica’s head office, the executive presented the theme Impacts of blockchain technology on the economy.

The public that was present, approximately 50 people, was made up of students, professionals in the sector and those interested in the subject, including the government area.

At the end of the lecture, the questions were the most diverse. One of the highlights was the issue regarding security, in which participants presented their concerns about how to keep bitcoins safe. Legal and regulatory issues were also addressed by those present.

Participation in Santander Fintech Day Powered By Fábrica de Startups

The executive will also participate in two more events with Fábrica de Startups in the first two months of the year. On February 5, in Rio de Janeiro, and February 13, in São Paulo, Carlos Russo will compose the panel with the theme Cryptocurrencies – Main challenges and prospects for 2020 in the two editions of Santander Fintech Day Powered by Fábrica de Startups, promoted by Banco Santander.  Foxbit CEO, João Canhada, was also invited to the events. In Rio de Janeiro, the event will be held at the Hotel Emiliano and in São Paulo, at Santander’s headquarters
